RUBITHERM^® PX

This fine, dry powder is based on a composition of our RUBITHERM^® RT latent heat storage material and an ecologically friendly powder base. The melting point of the latent heat storage material can be freely defined by the user for their specific application. The fact that the PCM powder stays soft and free-flowing at any temperature making it ideal for comfort and medical therapy products.

Advantages

With its high PCM content of approx. 60 %, the RUBITHERM^® latent heat powder offers a high heat storage capacity at a constant temperature level during the phase change process.

The powder form of this bound PCM which are also known as dry liquids allows for filling of containers (or textile covers) of any conceivable geometry without having to handle or store inconvenient liquids. The powder remains absolutely dry below and above the phase change temperature, as the phase change takes place inside the material.

The RUBITHERM^® latent heat powder is non-toxic. This ecologically harmless product has no adverse effects on plants, animals or micro-organisms.
