| Phase Change Material - RT | ||
|
RUBITHERM® RT On undergoing phase change from solid to liquid, our ecological thermal energy storage material RUBITHERM® RT absorbs a large amount of heat, known as latent heat, at a relatively constant temperature. When this phase change process is reversed, that is from liquid to solid, the previously stored latent heat is released, again at a nearly constant temperature. Advantages Due to their high purity and special composition our PCM's show an extraordinary heat storage capacity in even small temperature ranges. Also they are chemically inert and ecologically friendly and they have a virtually unlimited product life. Characteristics RUBITHERM® RT is available in a wide range of operating temperatures from -10°C to approximately 100°C. If you cannot find the temperature your application needs, please contact us – most temperatures can be custom made. Also, for specific temperature points our range of High Capacity RTs (for example RUBITHERM® RT 5 HC) is available. These have 25% to 30% more latent heat storage capacity than the classic RT – contact us for details or other temperature points. |
