Latent Heat Paraffins

Latent Heat Paraffins and WaxesRUBITHERM® RT

On undergoing phase change from solid to liquid, our ecological thermal energy storage material RUBITHERM RT absorbs a certain amount of heat, known as latent heat, at a relatively constant temperature. When this phase change process is reversed, that is from liquid to solid, the previously stored latent heat is released, again at a nearly constant temperature.

Advantages

Due to their high purity and special composition our PCM's show a distinctive crystallinity. This results in an extraordinary heat storage capacity in even small temperature ranges.
